Jasleen Aulakh Kalsi
Michigan Marriage and Family Therapist
Jasleen is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Michigan. She has a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with their genuine selves. With a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, and a background in Special Education, her transition from teaching to therapy was motivated by the toll global events and systemic imbalances had on her students and families. As an immigrant, woman of color, and member of the Sikh community, Jasleen brings a trauma-informed, systemic perspective to her work. She is especially committed to serving marginalized communities - offering a culturally humble space where clients feel understood, heard, and empowered to heal and grow. Jasleen provides therapy in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
Blending Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy, Jasleen’s approach is collaborative and strength-based. She believes in fostering a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can uncover their resilience and tap into practical tools for lasting change. Outside of therapy, Jasleen enjoys hiking, traveling, and writing.
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
